| In November 2009, Southern Clay Products hosted the local Fire Department and EMS to familiarize emergency services personnel with the production site and any hazards they may encounter during an emergency. An appreciation dinner was held and annual donations were presented to recognize the valuable services these organizations provide to Southern Clay Products and the Gonzales community. |

February 2009 - A donation was made by Southern Clay Products to the American Cancer Society for the 2009 Relay for Life event. This is the 5th year that SCP has participated in the Relay which is held each Spring in Gonzales, TX. The event increases awareness of cancer in our community and raises the much needed funds to fight the disease.

| The employees of Southern Clay Products, Inc. recently had a Thanksgiving food drive. The generous donations helped provide Thanksgiving food baskets for 10 families that are in need of a Thanksgiving meal. Employees of Southern Clay Products along with representatives from the Gonzales County Assistance Ministry and The Head Start Program are shown distributing the baskets to some of those families. |

| 2007 ACMA – Karl Kamena, Terry VanHyfte (Molded Products Division – Interplastic Corporation), Doug Hunter, Don Poucher and Terry Brennan stand behind the new Yamaha Wave Runner FX HO. The FX HO utilizes a Cloisite® nanoclay in the hull to displace heavy fillers resulting in a 25% reduction in weight. The lightweight hull is the result of collaboration between Yamaha, Southern Clay Products, Reichhold, and Interplastic Corporation. |
